About me and my program

Hi everyone! My name is Marika and welcome to my blog! As you probably know, I am studying Paralegal Technology at College Ahuntsic, in Montreal. I have been studying in this program for 2 years and I only got 1 left! This program prepares you for many careers like bailiff, court clerk, paralegal technician (of course), notary, lawyer and even judge! Each semester, a student in Paralegal Technology needs to take around 8 courses. Like every student at school, we have to take the basic courses. We also add some courses about the different types of law, about the different procedures that the technician needs to know and the different careers that are waiting for us. At the end of my path, I need to find an internship. It can be complicated to find one due to Covid-19, but we are well-supervised. Because our diploma opens us so many doors, the competition to get into university program vary. The programs in Law are usually restricted, but you are not obliged to go to the university, and many other programs are accessible. 

About this blog

As you know, this blog will be about my program, Paralegal Technology. Maybe I will talk a little bit more about myself and my passions, if you ask. If you are a student in Paralegal  Technology, a professional in Law or just someone who would like to learn about their rights, this blog is for you! I will soon post a glossary for you. That way, you will be able to follow me trough all my adventures! I will correct my post before posting them by using the Virtual Writing Tutor. If you find any mistakes, just write them under my post and I will do my best to correct myself.
